Did You Know?
Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.
At the Arrowhead Country Club golfers can enjoy a beautiful course with several lakes. The 18-hole course, which was designed by renowned golfer Arnold Palmer, is rated at par 72. It is a long course, particularly at the back tees, but golfers enjoy the fact that good shots are well rewarded.
